Ethernet hds 5 to hds 5 help

    I just bought an Ethernet cable to share a single transducer. I cannot get the second unit to show depth any solutions?

    Do you have Network Sonar selected in the Sonar Menu? Once that is selected then hit enter on Sonar Source. It should say This Unit & HDS 5 or something along those line. Select the other unit

    Make sure both are set to read the right transducer to… Had the same issue with my 5 and 7, the 7 was set to a different ducer model

    Thanks for the suggestions will give them a try.I take it no adjustments are made to unit one.All adjustments can be made to unit 2.

    both units need to be turned on to share , menu sonar options then menu x2 turn on share light then they should show selected transducer from selected unit.
