    Hi,

I would like the walleye pros to give some idea on how to fish this particular piece of structure. Got to sunken island and I was hoping that someone could give some advice on how to deploy my tip ups. I already caught one there but it was pure luck. Now I really want to target eyes in that spot. Thanks guys!

Reminds me of a spot on farm island…

I’d personally try the small flat on north side of the left island. But without knowing the bottom, I’d be drilling holes all over.

Lots of variables, water clarity, time of year, time of day, weed growth, are you looking for trophies or eaters?

I’d for sure put a tip up on the flat right between the two humps to start with (natural funnel, and between two desirable pieces of structure). Then jig up and down the breaks of both humps until I saw where I was getting the most lookers.

Not looking specifically for trophies. Water clarity is very very good. targeting this time of year. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon. But I’m fishing all day long anyway.

Not looking to get the perfect advice or setup. Just want a starting point. I will try some of your advice this week-end. I’ll let you know if it did produce.

That big turn on the left island by the shoreline flat for this time of year, fish tend to go to the shallows this time of year. You have depth plus a feeding flat. DK.

Where are you fishing that the season is still open?
The 22 foot nub or 27 foot flat on the north west.

I thought the same thing. Don’t want to make assumptions but please make sure that walleye is open to fish on this body of water this time of year.

Day I’m time on that north flat. Low light south.

I’ve tried some of your advice and it worked. But not the specie I was targeting! Lol

    That’s not a bad alternative!
