Long shot question….

With your travels to Rainy has anybody come across covered slips that can be rented up there? Would need power for charging also. Would be looking to rent for the whole open water season.

There are waiting lists at most of the resort slips, and they’re not covered. Rainy Lake Marina will dry dock it, which is as close to covered as you’ll get I think.

Yes thats what I was finding also. I tossed it out there in the hope somebody knew somebody who might know of something.

Are you local? The landing at the Park Headquarters building right out of town, is that water considered part of the river or Sand Bay? Wondering how the fishing is down that way.

The Park Headquarters with the nice ramp is actually in Black Bay, so technically part of the Rat Root as you get deeper in there. Lots of good fishing in Black Bay, but also lots of hazards if you’re not familiar.

Not local, but long time cabin owner in the area.

I was asking about the ramp down by town. At the end of the truck route (Hwy 332) it is near the paper mills.
