Livescope transducer placement

    I have been thinking of upgrading my boat electronics. I have always had lowrance and like there units. I was thinking of mounting the livescope transducer on the bottom of my vantage since I backtroll most of the time. Can anyone see why this wouldn’t work? Looking or options for this. I’m not sure if I would have it facing backwards or forwards I would to play with that.

    We discussed this quite a bit recently. I’m leaning towards mounting it independently on its own support to allow scanning and setup for fishing independent of the motors direction. The vantage isn’t capable of a full 360 rotation is it? I’d want that ability for sure.

    It can turn 360 with moving the head. But if trolling it would only be looking forward or backward.
