    Looking to add some fish finders on my kayaks, any ideas or what you have done to your kayaks, don’t need to break the bank on this

    Been using a showdown troller for years, wet towel over a scupper hole for the transducer & a mount on the side for the unit. Uses 6 AA batteries or plug into 12 volt.

    I use a hook 3 or 4 can’t remember which. Mounted between the legs. Works great. Cost me $99

    The forums on bwca.com have some good ideas for folks who fish from yaks and canoes.

    I use my lx5 and lx6 right through the hull. I little water for the bottom of the ducer and away we go!
