Kabetogama snow/slush reports?

    Anybody know the current condition of Kab in regards to ATV travel on the lake. Can an ATV with chains and no sled to pull navigate decently, or is it too bad out there?

    call KEC”S COVE ,,,Larry is open year round to snowmobiling and ice fishing …. and has accomodations for the winter time also. very reasonable and good food,,,,clean units also——he can get you the info you need,

    I called Kec’s and the gateway and here is the report: They said the lake is a little rough, but travelable via ATV at this time.

    Looks like a day trip on the 1st is a go…..there is no better way to start a new year!

    As long time user and former family cabin owner in the park.I was wondering if it is just me but does it seem that Kabby is really not known as a ice fishing lake in general and doesnt get the pressure like other big MN lakes?
