Hello. I am not a walleye/sauger fisherman and need help. I am planning on fishing the Illinois River near Peru soon. I have always heard that the walleye/sauger bite can be good. I have been told that late March is the time and verticle jigging is the key. I am asking for help with what baits, techniques, and time of year are best. Any help would be appreciated. [email protected] Thanks– Rob
