Got my new power noodle rods and Okuma fly reels on Thursday. Imagine that, they came about 2 hours after I left for the weekend!! Anyways, AWESOME looking rods. One question, the fly reels have backing and line on them already. Is this something that Okuma put on or Thorne Bros? I assume either way the backing would be fine, but wondering about the mono that is on it. I can not wait to get on the ice with them!!
They don’t come that way from Okuma. TB does that for their customers. The line on those rods is usually 3# Pline. A fave of many iceheads.

Your gonna absolutely love that set-up !!!! I got mine about 3 weeks ago and can’t believe how much better it is than anything I was using. 
I got that same reel for christmas but I’m waiting on my quiverstick to be made still!! hopefully when I get back from Lake of the Woods this weekend it will be ready!
