I had to hit mine with some starting fluid this year for the first time. Might have been the two year old gas I’ve been running? I put fresh in, running like a champ now.

I believe in stabil. Put it in every tank and on all gas equipment.

Cmon what gets you more pumped than an ice auger engine?
like a true pro (with holes in the front of a few jackets)
look how he spins the muffler away from himself.
My old Jiffy model 30 is nearly 20 years old and it started on the second pull and usually does every winter after I blow the layers of dust off of it. I use seafoam in every tank and I think that has helped.
Good luck – I hope to start my ice season soon…

Just a side note pertaining to the title of this thread…..THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!!
oh boy I was wondering how long it would take until someone said that lol
only 4 pulls was needed for my Mako after sitting all year, with last years gas in it, and no stabil…
Three pulls on the one I just traded for after sitting dry for some where around 5 years.

Come in Matt Grow……….Matt Grow, do you copy?
If you noticed it fired on the second pull. If you would of turn the choke off at that point it would of started on the next pull. Very easy to get too much gas to the Solo, if it fires at all turn the choke off.
Gotta love the sound of the Solo Running!
Man she’s blowing up here! We’ve got a few walleyes and some dandy perch. Already had to run for propane! This house fishing is not for me! The drive home looks interesting judging by the radar.
