Does anyone remember what they were selling them for at the ice fishing show last year?? Need an idea of what kind of $$ I need to bring this year. Thanks.

Toss Thornebros.com an email and ask there. They’ll have the best pricing at the show.

A guy should have bought them all!! I’m always a step behind!! Hindsight is always 20/20 I guess. Now the world finally has seemed to catch on. Fortunately dollar for dollar, feature for feature they continue to be offered at a flat out bargain. Compare it to similiar watts on a open water unit, and you’ll surely agree. My understanding is the LX5 will be at a fairly universal price of $499.00, but be offered with a $50.00 Pre-Paid Credit card bringing the unit down to only $450.00 for a limited time. The LX3 on the otherhand I believe is being offered with a $25.00 credit bringing that pricing from $399.00 to roughly $375.00. The VX1 which funny enough still boasts 1000 watts of power is at a flat out steal in the $299.00 range. My belief everyone should own at the minimum a VX1 to get in the game,or to have for your friend when he’s whining about not catching any fish!! It is my understanding the specials will run until the end of December. Stop in and see me…….I’ll set you straight on “Red Love”!! But expect a beautiful “Red Present” to leave with you!!

Correct me if I am wrong but I think that the VX1 is no longer availible, the VX1P replaced it and is a very strong 1500 watts.

Pricing is a funny thing you can buy the LX5 from Marcum on their web site for $499 all day but Cabelas has them for $549 currently on sale for $499. Wow that is a savings of nothing. I have noticed that Reeds have them on ebay for $474 with free shipping.

Oh and then you get the $50 credit card…

I still have a Zercom Colorpoint in mint condition. It is the precursor to the VX-1. it has no options yet as long as I am not operating near another flasher I would count on it anytime. Works beautiful. Still my go-to flasher for panfishing even though I have an LX-5. Old habits die hard.
