Has anyone ever used the blades for the lazer hand augers on their gas auger? other than one being serrated and the other a straight edge, what is the difference? Advantages/disadvantages?

the only difference is the serrationsJanuary 13, 2009 at 1:48 am #736632Do you think they are any faster or slower than the serrated blades? Do they dull faster than the serrated?
January 19, 2009 at 1:28 pm #738879Absolutely no difference in cutting ,
I think the serrations are just there to break up the shavings more.January 19, 2009 at 8:14 pm #739069Good to know. I spoke with Strikemaster about this the other day and they said you can use the hand auger blades on a gas auger, but not the other way around. I appreciate you responding on this one.
