Has anyone ever used the blades for the lazer hand augers on their gas auger? other than one being serrated and the other a straight edge, what is the difference? Advantages/disadvantages?

works just fine, I have hand blades on my 6″ now and this is the 3rd season on them
the only difference is the serrations

Do you think they are any faster or slower than the serrated blades? Do they dull faster than the serrated?

Absolutely no difference in cutting ,
I think the serrations are just there to break up the shavings more.

Good to know. I spoke with Strikemaster about this the other day and they said you can use the hand auger blades on a gas auger, but not the other way around. I appreciate you responding on this one.

Thanks for that bit of info on the blades as I usually carry both in the back of the truck.
