Went up to the LOTW this past weekend. I started out in 28 to 30 feet of water north of pine island and a little west of the gap. A lot of down time sat. I think we ended up with 15 good eaters. So decided to go shallower the next day. This time we got as close as possible to the gap. Which was the ticket! We caught our limits in about an hour. All of which where walleyes in the 15″ to 17″ range for the day I think we had a total of 50+ fish that we released. No monsters and no other species. The colors where pink and gold, glow white and red. I also had luck with a gold spoon crashing the bottom. Nothing beats the LOTW. Get out there! March is the best time to fish the reef! That’s all Paul
