A fishing buddy has X-mas money to buy a camera, and I feel it’s my duty as his friend to help him spend that money!! Plus I’d like see the camera in action Any input from underwater camera users would be helpful. Thanks

His main concern is, is a camera just a novelty or is it a valuable fishing tool? you probably wouldn’t fish without your fish finder or flasher… so do you feel the same about the camera?

thanks for the post Lars, looks like this topic has been thouroughly discussed in the past. I could see how if the panfish bite is real light it could help with hook ups and also a good tool for looking at structure on the open water. Thanks again IDAers. I’ll passs the info along!
