I heard there is alot of snow on the lakes up there and its going to be hard to get anywhere in trucks.
Yeah….hopefully you are able to keep an eye on the snow/slush condition’s before you make the trip! It’s a major issue up there…if you can’t get around on the ice, obviously your fishing will suffer! Congrat’s and have a great trip…just try to “play” the condition’s!!!

Going to need snow machines or stay on lakes with plowed roads. Could really use some warm sunny days to knock this stuff down.
Fish Pokegama which is on the south end of Grand Rapids and stay at the Sawmill Inn on 169. See if you can rent a sled and trailer to get around the lake. Snowshoes is another option if you are stuck being a pedestrian.
The ice fishing opportunities are endless up there and there are a ton of smaller lakes if hiking two miles in knee deep snow is a problem.
Good luck and have a fun.
What species are you fishing for; that is a big determination on where to fish?
