    Starts good then dies without constant throttle.If I keep the throttle going it still cuts nice. I have to choke it then to get it going again. Any ideas on what this could be?

    sounds like a plugged idle circuit. Clean the carb and make sure all the ports are open.

    clean the carb! run some seafoam in the gas!

    yup, seafoam and some fuel stabilizer will save a lot of headaches
