January 3, 2008 at 5:42 pm #639257Have you fished Maple yet? I hear it’s full of people, but haven’t heard a report on the fish yet.
BTW, welcome neighbor!!! I live 3 miles north of you.

Did you ever get in on the north side of BB Lake in the springtime for crappies? I used to live in Hanover and I did that a time or two.
March 7, 2009 at 4:43 am #205751I was wondering how people carry? I always carry with an empty chamber, 1 is I feel safer, 2 is it doesn’t take but a split second to jack one in the chamber & 3 if it ever happened that someone got controll of my weapon I know the chamber is empty.
(I hope to God the 3rd one will never happen & you always treat every gun as if it were loaded.
Just wondering what other peoples thoughts are on it.March 7, 2009 at 5:01 am #48340Don’t have a permit yet, but when I do, I’ll carry with one in the pipe. Things happen fast, and the less steps you have to take to fire, the better.
If you do carry with the chamber empty, you need to practice that way. Draw, Rack the Slide, Aim, Shoot. IMHO too many steps.
