Thoughts on good hunting folding knives? Brands, styles types… Edge holding vs corrosion resistance vs ease of sharpening….

I really like my Kershaw Ken Onion right up until I lost it… (Its around somewhere, just need to “unlose” it!!) Just bought a SOG to try out…

How about best steel type for all around use? 440a vs 440c vs aus8 vs ATS-34, etc…

I know that anything made by Cutco is scary sharp. I prefer their straight grind blades to their patented “D” shape grind, but thats just my personal choice. The straight grind allows me to touch up a blade before it gets dull. The serrated “D” grind can’t be sharpened at home. It needs to be sent to the factory for grinding.

Just got a CRKT Anubis. AUS-8 steel. So far, I love it. It is one heavy knife, though.
