Might be a dumb question here but, I just bought a boat with a hummingbird 597ci hd mounted on the counsel. I’m really liking this unit and was wondering if I could get another for the front of the boat and use the same transducer, or do I need a whole new unit? I primarily fish outta the front of the boat and would like something up there also.
Couple thoughts. Not sure if this can be moved to the Big Toys for Big Boys and Humminbird section.

You’ll know if you found the right video, the guy found a slick way to move the head unit from the counsel to the bow without disconnecting cables.
