Humminbird Helix 10 Mega SI+ GPS G4N Question

I just had a new MinnKota Terrova bow mount installed with the transducer built in. I am now looking at upgrading my electronics. My question is I mainly troll from the cockpit of my boat for salmon and walleye but sometime I fish bass from the bow using the bow mount and foot control. My question is since I do not need a fish finder up in the bow very often is it possible to have the Hummingbird Helix 10 installed in the cockpit and ran from a transducer off the back of the boat when motoring from spot to spot or trolling. But when I want to do some casting from the bow can I get an extra mount and just move the unit up to the bow for the time I am fishing up front and use the transducer built into to the bow mount?

Yes it is possible, but unhooking the wire block and rehooking it from your trolling motor will be a pain in my mind. As long as you have the power cable and the transducer cable you are good to go.
