How to divvy up 200 yards of leadline.

    How would you guys divvy up 200 yards of sufix 832 advanced? I only have 4 rods. I want a 7 color rod and after that I’m not sure what to do with the other 13. I have downriggers and I could use some lead on a downrigger rod to get below the weights a bit which might afford me running bottom a bit better.

    Thanks Randy – I mostly fish the north shore of Superior, does that change your numbers at all?

    Not really. Down here on Lake MI, a lot of guys will run 5 color out with an extra 50 feet into their backing to get extra depth.
