Has anyone here “taken advantage” of the Hot Sale!! items that are sold on Faebook?? There was a Helix 12 for $85 and a Helix 15 for $95. You could pay through Paypal which, what I thought, was a safe way to pay for and receive products. Just wondering.

Sounds to me like you’d be buying stolen items if they are that cheap.
July 23, 2021 at 10:04 am #2050032Definitely a sacm – no way a $1k + graph is going out for that. Heck I still see used Helix 12 G2s getting a fair resale price.
I wouldn’t paypal unless it was to a person I know or a reputable business.

July 23, 2021 at 10:48 am #2050044It’s a scam. Don’t do it. I get the same BS offers for coolers cause I looked at some a few days ago.
July 23, 2021 at 10:54 am #2050046I ordered 2 of them, Still waiting for them to ship. This was in 2010 lol

July 23, 2021 at 12:23 pm #2050063Definitely a scam. If you see Northface jackets for 20.00 or Dewalt tools for 20.00 when they are normally 10X that I wouldn’t touch them. If you try to search for the company names in Google, you might be able to see complaints on them. Try adding a comment to the Facebook Add and then come back later to see if it is still there. They are all over on FB. Funny that FB can remove posts on the Election or Vaccines but they can’t get rid of these scammers.
July 23, 2021 at 12:34 pm #2050066I never do paypal for merchandise unless I have the seller send me a PayPal invoice. If you just send the money using PayPal without using the PayPal invoice, it is the same as a donation, i.e. no recourse
July 23, 2021 at 2:10 pm #2050089Yeah, Facebook is a joke. They censor anything you share about covid or biden, but they let scammers pay to run ads on Facebook. Each item that shows up as a scam is a sponsored ad that Facebook puts there… Go figure
