Any good fishing east of Koetter lake?

During my July 4th vacation I spent several days exploring the lakes east of Keotter like Bolfing, Park, Krays, Knaus and the narrow channel that leads to Cold Spring dam (I primarily just fish on Horseshoe, Mud, Ceder Island and Becker) I caught very few fish during my time there and wondered if anyone ever have any good luck fishing the eastern lakes of the Chain? Structure and weed cover seemed very minimal and i only saw a few boats the whole time I was there.

I have had luck with cats around the bridges and holes. The Crappies I have cought in summer are in the main channels and suspened.

Thanks for the info, I mainly fish for Bass and Walleyes though, if your looking for big cats, stick with Lake Koetter. They like the current and I usually catch large ones off my dock at night.

Hey I was out on Koetter last night till 11:30 got 8 cats. Nothing over a couple pounds but alot of action.
