Need a new field drag

    My buddy back home and I are looking for a new field drag. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to get? We are looking at these right now:

    I use the roller chain from a manure spreader. Works great but a little heavier. Can buy at an used implement dealer.

    What are you draging?for my needs an old spike tooth harrow works great and you could get 8 of them for 400$

    We’ll use it mostly for dragging smallish plots after we spread seed. I currently have an old harrow. Unfortunately it’s fallen apart and only 1 section is still usable. We want to cover more ground on each pass. Stinks dragging 10 acres with a 4 foot wide harrow.

    Old Metal bedframe works pretty good. Throw a tire or two on it for some weight.

    Kooty, I have both styles… I would without a doubt go with the landscaping style like you have pictured. they are indestructible and make your plots look like a garden

    I bought the same drag Sticker. Taking it home this weekend for it’s first use. Seems very durable and priced right!

    We got the 8×4. Depending on how well it pulls behind our side by sides and how good of a job it does, we might buy another so it’s 8×8.
