This was a turnip plot that never took off with the lack of rain last fall. The mix also included some clovers and wheat. Its amazing how much this greened up this last week and the deer are loving it. I also frost seeded this with clover the last week of Feb. and those clover shoots are really starting to show up! This will be a good one for deer this summer.

That is awesome! Perenials are something I definitely need more of to fill in some timeline gaps for year round food. Have any of your clover plots died out from over grazing? Nice pic

These clover plots get hit very hard but do very well with the heavy grazing unless we get zero rain from august on like last year.
