    Well, dad and I set out to a “close to home” lake today to test out the I-Pilot Link. Very happy with the new electronics.

    We did a lot of learning and dad was even rewarded with this 28.5″ walleye for our efforts. The fish overall were tight lipped. We saw lots of walleye on the graph and confirmed on the camera. We just couldn’t get them to bite.

    We did manage a few small perch, a couple 3# pike along with the big walleye.

    As a bonus I got to meet a fellow IDOer out on the water today. A nice surprise. Pleasure to meet you today Dan.

    Yeah, he is still laughing about that. Look forward to seeing you out there again (which means I am out there fishing).
