Handheld question

I haven’t bought a new handheld for a LONG time but my Lowrance Ifinder finally died. So here is my question. Should I go find another one on ebay that is compatible with the lakemaster chip I have or go get a new one.

If I should get a new one, what is even out there these days? and I need to have it at least as detailed as my lakemaster chip was for MN lakes.

    Thanks

If you have a smartphone check out the navionics map app. I think it’s like $9.99. It is fairly accurate. Most popular lakes in the US have good contour maps.
