A few buddies of mine and myself are headed to Gogebic to a friend’s cabin for a 3 day weekend in two weeks. I am completely new to the lake and know nothing about it. I have a 17.5′ Crestliner and we’ll be headed out looking for walleye and perch mainly, but smallmouth would also be of interest. Not looking for specific spots or anything, mostly just looking for techniques that guys are using this time of year up there. I am set-up to fish any techniques except trolling cranks (just don’t have the rods). Any help anyone would have in terms of structure types to target or areas of the lake, or presentations that would be awesome.
Also will be looking for a good local bait shop if anyone knows of a place. Thanks guys!
