    Any weed growth in the shallow bays yet? I am coimg up to Big V in a couple weeks.

    Hey Quicksilver,
    Not to much grass as yet, but it should be up by the time your here. There are a few new reeds sprouting up by my place in Pike Bay and the warm weather is on the way.

    Thanks for the info. I am booking a week at Vermilion Dam Lodge from 9/6-13. Taking the wife and dog. Should I tell ’em you sent me?

    You picked a great resort, VDL is in a great location and Ed does a great job!

    From the Dam, you can hit any place on the lake, but you really don’t have to go far.

    Have a great trip. Leave a few for me in October.

    Really looking forward to the early fall trip. A bunch of us are going up to V next week too. Staying at a resort up in the Wakemup Narrows area. I will let you know howe we do.
