Just got back from staying at Trevor’s place and dealing with close to 40mph winds, rain and cooler temps.
Probably not prime fishing weather….but we did finally get a nice day after the storms and fished West Battle, we caught northers, perch and bass, but no walleye’s.
We tried jigs, jigs with minnows, lindy rigs, raps, trolling, sitting still, and drifting, slip bobbers and tried from 8 fow to 35 fow.
But no wally’s.
Just curious…anybody fish that lake and any idea on where
or what they usually bite on?
We thought for as much ground and time as we spent on the lake we’d see maybe even a small walleye or two caught?
