Deer Lake

    Has anyone ever fished Deer Lake? Its a very small and clear lake thats connected to Otter Tail Lake. Going up there for a week in August. Wondering if any one knew how the fishing is and where they are.

    The only thing I ever really hear about Deer Lake is that’s the spot where the tubers get picked up after floating the OT river between OT and Deer……It’s actually a nice, quiet little lake that you should find full of pannies, bass and northern……. Enjoy your trip and the area.

    Which Deer lake are you talking about?? if its the deer lake that im thinking of it has real good panfish fishing. i icefished it last year a did real well!!

    Very good pan-fish lake. Fish the outside of the weed lines. Good luck.
