Low is almost an understatement for the water levels right now on Red and most all other surrounding lakes. If you are headed to red, the River channel on the Tamarac is OK but from the mouth out to the first break….BE CAREFUL and stay in the channel of the marker bouy’s. Once you get past the last Bouy continue to head straight west watching your depth finder, the first break is about 50 yards or so past the last Bouy. If you stray to the right or left you will hit the rock piles, which are just a foot or so under the water.
