At least the eyes are biting.

    Just got back from a week of fishing some N.Mn lakes. Hit url on the 27th. Started out in 8fow, eyes were biting anything we threw at them. Many nice fish, we did have to sort through MANY to find some smaller keepers. After catching our limit of a whopping 6 we headed out a few miles to try our luck on the crappies, caught 2-13 1/2″, along with a half dozen real nice jumbos. The walleye bite is a blast, sure it’s only a 2 fish limit but when you can catch one after another it makes for a great day, good company and good fishing!!

    13.5 is a huge crappie! what are they biting on?

    Eyes were hitting anything, we caught those on everything from a plain hook/crappie minnow to a swedish pimple, color didn’t seem to matter.

    Crappies came on the bobber rods/glow jig.
