Lake conditions????

    Does anybody know the lake conditions on LOTW? I’m going up this week and want yo know if I will be fine with an ATV on the ice. I know there is plenty of ice I’m worried about how much snow there is after this last storm.

    nobody has been to the lake or heard since the storm??? Come on!

    Sorry, I drove home in the storm and haven’t heard from anyone that’s been out. I do know a LOT of people canceled plans to make it to LOTW last weekend after the storm blew through.

    Thanks James, I’ve been getting mixed reports from various resorts up there. I will just have to go with everything I got!

    When we left there was 4″ – 8″ of snow on the ice (crusty and compacted) with some drifting. Slush was not an issue. We got out just as the storm was settling in so we didn’t get to see the aftermath. If you can find snow totals from the storm last friday – saturday you should be able to add that to what I saw up there and get a decent feel for what to expect.
