Blocking Low

    Is it just me or was Chicago doing a lot of very low blocking yesterday? I know they got called for it once, but just 1 play before it they did the same thing. I saw it 10-12 times at least yesterday. It seems like a good way to get someone hurt.

    Wasn’t it a Seahawk that took the knee to the head? What is his head doing at knee level….or below?

    I think the playoffs bring a whole different level of intensity to the game. Maybe some of the low hits are missed because the stripes are looking at the heads for bad hits.

    When coaching first, second, and third graders; we always taught them that the way for an O-lineman to give himself the best chance for a successful block is to get LOWER THAN the guy you’re blocking.
