Just got done looking over my summer jig box and WOW did they get rusty in the last few weeks! Does anyone know how I could go about removing rust from 300 jigs and 6 plano boxes? I’m really hoping there is a remedy for this and don’t have to throw them out!

Soak em in cook for a few minutes, than wipe and rinse in water.

Once you get them cleaned, there’s an easy method of prevention.

Just put one or two of those little gel packs that come in everything from vitamins to electronics. Those are the little sealed packets that say “DO NOT EAT” on them. They’ll keep the moisture off your lures and keep the rust away.
