    what is the best kind of line to use in the winter down at pool 4

    Mono or braid? Mono I prefer Trilene Sensation in hi-vis. For braid most guys go with fireline crystal or power pro.

    We will be going back to sensation here soon. mustad made an awesome line but its been discontinued. The orange sensatoin looks great and I loved the line when I used to use it.

    I have been using Cortland hi-vis orange for the last two years. I have been very pleased with it. Dean has it at Evert’s.

    I fished last night on P-2 and let me tell you when the temps dropped braid was a nightmare freezing to the rod blank…Mono is a better choice in below freezing temps… Endurance, Maxima amd Sensation are all good choices that come in Hi Vis…

    I like trilene micro Ice or P line ice line 3lb fish 4lb berkely crystal ice fireline works good in cold temps dosnt freeze like power pro
