After a VERY long and draining day, I am very happy to let all of you know my Dad is doing incredible. He was awake and alert when we got to talk to him. He was quite witty with the nurse when all the beeping from the mashines were going off, he just looked at her and goes “is that my pizza??”. While we were waiting to see him we had to get the go ahead from the nurses and one nurse said wait 20 min and I needed to know if he was still awake. She tells me he’s in there yapping about the Twins game! They originally thought he would be in ICU for three days before moving him into a normal room but the nurse said with how well he’s doing he will probably be in his room by tomorrow. He has an MRI in the morning and there should be more known after that. The love support for my dad has been unbelievable and we cannot thank you enough for your prayers. Keep em coming. Dad will be back in the boat in no time!
