I need a copy of my 2008 Tax refund and information for my student financial aid. I have every years return printed and saved but cannot find 2008 for the life of me, must have lost it moving or something. Anyway, is there anywhere I can get a copy for free? The site I use to file wants $12.95, the IRS wants $57.00 and sent by snail mail. Thanks for the help!
Who prepared them for you? They should have backup files and be able to make paper copies for you.
I’m suprised the IRS wanted $57. A couple years ago I called and had them send me the data (it did not look like the form but was the data off the form) and I’m positive there is no way I would have spent $57 on that.
Maybe you need to ask again.
