Downsizing

    So, at what point should we large-boat-owning fisherpeople start to consider downsizing to a smaller boat?

    I have to admit I’ve been pondering that question lately. Selling my Crestliner 202 when gas is $4/gallon could be tough, but it might become a lawn ornament if we hit $6/gallon (the new 2010 estimate from our revered “oil analysts”).

    I’ve always enjoyed fishing big water (hence the big boat), but what’s the breaking point?
