I was wondering the best place to mount my on board charger. I have a 2000 alumacraft mag, i have my strter batt in the back and trolling batt in the front. What the general rule of thumb? I need some good advice.

General rule of thumb is mount it where it will get good ventilation, is out of the elements and not have to cut and extend the leads.

I run a 2003 magnum. I mounted my charger on the opposite side of the boat from my starting battery, then ran a extention from there to my trolling motor batteries. It is an easy install as the rod locker is on that side and there are already holes on the front storage lockers to compleate the wiring run.
Shoot me a PM and I can get you my number and talk it over with you.
