    I have had two staple lines in the past, Fireline and Berkely Transition. The saltwater and toothy fish of florida tear the fireline to pieces and my last batch of transition was full of memory. I tried P Line and right out of the box it was crap. Any ideas on line that is limp and casts easy yet can withstand teethy fish?

    Trilene sensation…great strength, low memory, handles very well on spinning tackle. Have caught many northers and believe or not line has held up well! Hope that helps

    Braid= Power Pro

    Mono= I still have the original Transition…and LOVE IT!

    Florocarbon= Cabelas is the best of several I’ve tried (No I am not a Cabelas guy) I have seen several independant reviews and so far this year it has worked very well. I use it as a leader with Power Pro running line.

    Braided line I would go with Power Pro. Mono I like berkley XL or Sensation depending on if i’m fishing the river or a lake.

    Power pro seemed to work great for red fish in Sanibel Florida. I was told by the guide it worked great for tarpon too.
