Well the opener of fishing season is finally here! Time to put away your jet ski’s, power boats, pontoons. Time to get out your bow’s, shotguns and rifles. The lakes will be mine all mine with a few informed friends, this is the BEST time of the year. I think I will head out to Old Abe, Dells pond or Wissota. Its a tough call, but it will be all mine…..

Well slip a lake as big and as good as that you might have to share, but the riff raff that is jet ski’s, power boats etc. will be playing there annual dissapearing act. Some of the lakes around here aren’t even worth looking at until after labor day….
Yup. The “toys” are going away. 
Even Minnetonka wasn’t very busy this weekend. All three days, there were open parking spots at the Maxwell ramp….AT NOON!
