I just bought my first boat (used) and it came with no paperwork and its painted all in camo.

What i need to know is what the proper ratio of fuel/oil to use for a 2-stroke 25hp 1991 Evinrude.

50:1 would be my choice till I could get an answer from OMC. I’d ask a reputable dealer to be certain.

That is 1 pint (1/2 qt) for 6 gallons (16 oz oil to 6 gallons gas).

Use 50:1 – Check local library for OMC Service Manual which also gives you tips & details on mixing.

You can get an oil/gas mixing ratio plastic measuring cup from probably Fleet Farm or Northern Hydraulics. it has different ratio’s on it for measuring your oil for any amount of gas you want to mix. Always a perfect mixture. NO GUESSING. Need you get yourself one.
    Your Evinrude will be 50:1.
