    Can I put a 36 trolling motor on alumacraft navigator 165, if so where to put third battery.

    Out of curiosity, why are you looking to put a 101 on a 16.5ft boat?

    That sucker would move out. if you have room for 3 batteries I don’t see why not

    Just buy a 36v lithium pro then you don’t need but 1 battery, but it comes at a cost, and only weighs like 28lbs.

    Just put the 3rd battery in a storage compartment. I have read of other guys doing that.

    You won’t regret it. That thing will move and you’ll have all the extra power you’ll ever want. I put a 101 Terrova on my old Skeeter WX1850 and I never regretted it.

    I found a 2013 model for a very good price and comes with MK 3 bank charger. So I’m really thinking about it and I mostly fish rivers so the extra power would be great.
