Can’t wait!
I feel bad for the so called sporting goods store/clothing store down the street down the street that’s gonna see a major hit.
March 22, 2014 at 7:05 pm #1398421Yay! Another “outdoor” store 90% full of overpriced clothing and nick nacks! Can’t wait to NOT visit it!
March 22, 2014 at 7:58 pm #1398433Just drove by today and the place looks great. Cannot wait, it will be fantastic to have a Cabela’s store this close.
The biggest thing for me is the ability to easily try stuff on. The next benefit will be the ability to take advantage of the free shipping to the store.
Can’t wait.

March 23, 2014 at 7:16 am #1398515It might be overpriced, but not any more than the other local retail shops in the area.
Im looking forward to driving to one store on a Saturday , instead of to three to get my hunting/ fishing equipment.March 23, 2014 at 8:12 am #1398524They will price match if you bring in proof of a better price from the competition but you have to ask dept management usually to make it happen.Never works for new firearms for me but fishing equipment and the utility trailer I bought they were willing to do it to get the sale.
March 23, 2014 at 8:18 am #1398526Try to find a better company on returns. They stand by their products can’t say the same for the others.
March 23, 2014 at 10:46 am #1398559I can’t remember which forum member said it, but when the store was first announced, the best line of the thread:
With God as my witness, I shall never have money again!

March 23, 2014 at 8:28 pm #1398676Very happy to hear the opening of the Big C in Woodbury. Owatonna and Rogers were just a bit too far of a drive for me to take just to go shopping for fishing/outdoors stuff. I am moving to Oakdale on Memorial Weekend and will be spending plenty of time at the new Woodbury location…and money.

A coworker of mine said the sign outside the store says it will be opening late April.
