Lake Winnebago WI Resorts

    The wife has family in Appleton WI and wants to take a trip this summer and stay on the lake there, any nice on the water places to stay in the area?

    Camping…. trailering a camper, or looking for a full resort as I suspect? I have been through a couple campgrounds with landings, but someone else would have to suggest a resort.

    I will be bringing the wife, our two year old and my boat, so no camping for us. We are trying to find a resort or a house on the water with a dock and a beach close by.

    It is a good distance from Appleton, though. There are others about an equal distance to Appleton on the Wolf River.

    Your best bet might be to search Craigslist for cabin rentals. Let me know when you come and I can help you with the bite.
