Has anyone ever fished this lake in March? We are going down to Florida for spring break and looking at booking a guide. If you have ever fished here how did you do? Advice?
Thanks

March can be really good for big fish especially with the late spring. I would guess you could have some great fishing. I would recommend Long Cast guide service, Kevin Long. Fished with him a few years ago and caught the snot out of them with a 7# being the biggest, that was in February. He guides out of Roland and Mary Ann Martin’s Marina in Clewiston
Oh yeah, I would definitely hit the big O if I was going to be down there. I have fished all over the country and that is one of my favorite lakes!
I hope to hit it next year when God willing it will be a 2 hour drive.
Thanks for the replies guys! I think we are going to try it out instead off fishing in the gulf this year.
Luckily all you’ll need is one rod! A big ol’ flipping stick! You’ll have a blast, they’ll be up in the slop and you’ll pull some toads.
