I had it done by Suburban eye specialist just about 6 months ago. I really liked it there. It was the office in Blaine.

It was done in a very comfortable environment and I felt like I was in goods hands. I really love it now!!

Make sure to get enough time to relax in the waiting room.

I have heard that the discount places are good. They get it right most of the time

I used this place. TLC visions centers in Edina. 15 yrs ago. I still have 20/20 vison and I couldn’t read the Big E on the chart before my surgury. My mom also has had her eyes done there 5 yrs ago now and loves hers also. They are absolutly fantastic. And will tell you if you are a good canidate for this surgery or not. I recomend them highly. My mom used Elizabeth Davis I can’t remember my doctor any more. They also have a lifetime guaranty. If you have your eyes checked yearly after your surgury and you vision changes they will redo it for free. 15 yrs so far and I haven’t had a change though. Had mine when I turned 20 and I’m 35 now. I’ll never go back to glasses.

I would recommend using your Health Care reimbursement account if that is an option for you. You might as well pay for it with pretaxed dollars. I had mine done about 13 years ago. Best money I’ve ever spent. Now my only problem is my arms are too short to read. But I can still see distances really well.

Another vote for North Suburban Eye specialists. They did my LASIK back in April and I LOVE it! I saw Dr. Lobanoff. The entire process was well explained and I felt very comfortable throughout.

I went to Lasik Plus in Maple Grove some years ago. 7+ I guess. Best money I’ve ever spent!!! Contacts and I were enemies. Glasses sucked anytime I got a little moisture or coolness in the air. I’ve never looked back. Of course I know a few people who have had challenges after. Not sure where they got their eyes done though. May have been a discount, buy 1 get 1 free deal?

Went to St. Paul eye clinic and seen James E. George, MD it was a great experience. He was at the woodbury office

I had -4 vision which I could not see more than about a foot away from my face and slight astigmatism. He was great to work with and listened to my concerns. My vision is 20/20 still and loving everyday since.

You can see the next day no problem. My eyes were sensitive to touch like rub the corner of my eye for a year no pain unless I touched them with my finger that is not uncommon and not super bad like a slight bruise. At night you will notice the headlights are a little brighter and the sun sure is I wear shades more often. The doctor went ove all possible side affects and my concerns which made me feel great about using him.

Mine was 3k at the time

I had mine done about 8 years ago and think it is still great. no halo’s no side effects. mine was done at Fridley medical center by dr. Lenz ( yeha I know) but he is/was also my eye doctor. so not a in and out and have to see a different docor if there are issues.

I also had a different type due to my stigamitism(sp?) that is Lasek vs. lasik that takes 30 days to heal between eyes, 2 procedures but a 95+ % chance of no issues where some people get halo’s and night driving issues and such. only issue i have is a “rushed” wake up and my eyes are dry they hurt sometimes to open but not very often just when really lackign sleep. and not just because of a few the night before. lol

    just my 2 cents worth.

either way you will not regret it.

    same cost either way

Hmmm…now I am thinking about getting it done. What, no recommendations in the South Metro? Are the good Doctors only in the North Metro?
