WOW!! I wonder how the DNR warden on Round Lake would go for those things.Unattended jet ski, no spotter, life jackets, etc….the experience-priceless.Sign me up.
September 21, 2012 at 1:27 pm #1100193I can see you flying around in loops with a PBR in one hand, Bret.
September 21, 2012 at 1:42 pm #1100200Wouldn’t want to do a head dive in shallow water. That’s wild.

I bet if you lost consciousness you would like the an unattended nozzle on a fire hose!

Maybe we could rent one for the GTG
September 21, 2012 at 2:44 pm #1100229These things are really cool to see in person. I saw 2 of them in action over the 4th of July on Clear Lake, IA. We went out in the boat to watch for a while and my 2 year old son still asks about seeing “Rocketman” again. They did have people operating the waveruners, but it was only 4 feet deep where they were operating, so a nose dive would have been a big problem.
September 21, 2012 at 3:18 pm #1100240sweet, I know what I am going to do with my parents jetski that never gets used…
September 21, 2012 at 3:23 pm #1100242That would be a lot of fun. Curious what kind of cost though.
September 21, 2012 at 3:50 pm #1100245I would pay to watch you ride one of those things Bret. That would be priceless

They have a website http://www.flyboard.com
Looks like almost $9K to get everything you need. Plus you will need a jetski.
Looks like a good time though.
pgavicPosts: 1September 26, 2012 at 3:25 pm #1101323I saw it at a ski show this summer–totally wild! It looks like a riot.
September 26, 2012 at 3:33 pm #1101324Wonder how many gallons per second size pumps they have? Hate to see one suck in a wad of duckweed or milfoil
desperadoPosts: 3010September 26, 2012 at 3:56 pm #1101325Please be careful Brett; if you try that in the river down in your area
someone might mistake you for a silver carp and go all on yer azzSeptember 26, 2012 at 4:55 pm #1101336Quote:

The jet on the PWC is what provides the necessary flow.
