I propose we permanently ban, all members talking about ice fishing and or the upcoming ice season of the hottest days of the year.

July 7, 2012 at 12:24 am #1081693I would much prefer ice fishing over this crap weather….and I aint much of an ice fisher dude!
starvin pilgrimPosts: 335July 7, 2012 at 12:54 am #1081694This morn. on the river 4 cig. style boats came wide open though about 20 fishing boats. after saluting them and bracing for the wake, I said to my buddy, another reason ice fishing is better. Not to mention I don’t have to pull the plug on my portable. I could go on.

Its a horse a piece. I’ve had trucks haul ras passed my shack and send up an old faithful out of the whole. Also had a crack about 2 inches wide shoot across the center of the porty once! And then had to go find a porta to change my pants!!desperadoPosts: 3010July 7, 2012 at 2:43 am #1081716Quote:
Cool weather is nice, but you dont see many swimsuits icefishing.
I see more in the winter; you gotta get to know the Bikini Icefishing Team a little better.
July 7, 2012 at 12:26 pm #1081747That’s nice and all, but do they show you their goods like they do on the Saint Croix if you ask politely and the ladies are partying?
starvin pilgrimPosts: 335July 7, 2012 at 1:36 pm #1081763It seems to me, the only people who like hot weather like what we’ve had lately are those that work inside. Try spending 50-60 hours out in it and say you like it. I guess I’m just one of those people that would rather plow my drive way than cut the grass.
July 7, 2012 at 1:44 pm #1081767I was outside for a good portion of the last 5 days. I’ve lost dang near 10#s. Part of that do to sweating it off and part just because its hard to eat even going from heat to air conditioning. Yet another benefit. In the winter all I want to do its eat while ice fishing.
